Does anyone here besides me watch Doctor Who? I know, this is my geek side coming out, and it's totally uncool, but I really love that show. It's on tonight but I couldn't wait so I've been watching all the past seasons since last Saturday. My favorite is Ten and Rose. I watched the Army of Ghosts and Doomsday episodes and cried like a baby after.
I wish the Doctor was real. I wish he'd come to Shadow Falls and steal me away in the Tardis and we could go adventuring together forever.
I finished sewing the dress I started, like, in March. It shouldn't have taken so long but so much came up and I got sick that I just couldn't complete it. ( Here's a photo )
Does anyone want to take me and my new dress out? |

It's finally starting to get warmer and just like with any climate change I'm starting to feel a little under the weather.
Adrian has a really cool apartment now and I'd like to take some of the credit for it. Maybe I should change my dream job from a veterinarian, or a kindergarten teacher, or a baker, or a florist, to a decorator! Does anyone need any remodeling? I'm kidding! I'm not sure I'm ready to be an entrepreneur.
Has anyone who's actually well enough to go downtown noticed Herrick hanging around? I must keep missing him because I haven't seen him since Friday.

Herrick must be in a really good mood lately because he agreed to let me work at the flower shop! Twelve hours a week I'll be at Buds and Blossoms! I'm so excited! I'm going to work making flower arrangements and running the cash register. I start next week. |

UPS came! Awesome! And its supposed to be in the forties this week. I feel like Spring is already here and I don't want to wait ALL The way until May to start my planting.
Adrian offered to host a movie night at his new apartment because I scolded him for never having seen Mommie Dearest. Are there really people out there that haven't seen movies like that? What about Rosemary's Baby and all those really good old horror movies?
Anyway, it sounds like a lot of fun. I rarely get to see a bunch of my friends at one time.
I'd like to have a party at Turner House sometime but whenever I suggest it everything gets so awkward, people don't like to come here because it's Herrick's House and I can understand why but...
...are people really afraid to come here because Herrick lives here? |

The notebooks have been filled with pictures of new born babies. They're all so cute and soft looking. I'm so envious! Think about all those cute little clothes you get to buy and how exciting it will be to watch your babies grow up. What will their personalities be like? What will they do with their lives?
I won't be able to have any children of my own but I wanted to offer my services as a baby sitter! I took a class on CPR for children so that has to work in my favor, right? I won't even charge any money! If anyone's interested just let me know!
Winter's been a lot of fun but I'm really ready for spring! Soon it will be Saint Patrick's day and then the snow will melt and spring will be here! Helping Adrian do some shopping for his new apartment put me in the mood to spend so I went on a little bit of a binge with the credit card Herrick gave me. Luckily he's in a good enough mood that I don't think he'll care when he gets the bill but...

I had a wonderful Valentine's day! I hope everyone else did too! More, I can't believe I actually just wrote that. I had a wonderful Valentine's day. Me! Usually Herrick is the only person who ever gets me anything, (I'm pretty sure he picks up those chocolates from the Kwik Trip down the road), and I just sit in my room eating all of them at once while watching "Love, Actually" and "Princess Bride" over and over until it's all over!
But not this year!
Two Valentine's gifts! I got two of them! One from a "mysterious, anonymous" admirer and one from someone else whose identity is my secret. THANK YOU! Both of you. You know who you are (and I do too).
It's always been a dream of mine to get a gift on Valentine's day and it finally happened! |

Herrick's house is so full right now! I live here, and Dillon, Skyler, Danil, and now Sadie. Not to mention the other humans that Herrick keeps just to run errands and mean-mug. I like it, I really like it. Sadie, I know you had to go through a lot and you probably don't even want to be here but I'm glad you are. I miss being the only woman in the house, it's more than a little intimidating sometimes. I hope you don't hate it here for too long, it really could be worse. I'm sure if we bake cookies once or twice together everything will be a lot better!
Dillon and Herrick are gone again, going to visit Dillon's father who's in the hospital. Does that mean we should have a party? Somehow, I doubt it. Besides, there's construction going on in the kitchen and that probably shouldn't be disturbed!
I'm really interested in Dead Space 2 but I'm way too afraid to play it on my own. Tomi, I think you should come over and play it so I can watch! |

I wonder how all the young mothers are doing out there, the ones from the Council's project to control the population of Shadow Falls. I haven't read too many updates or anything like that. I'm not pregnant myself nor will I ever be but I think I've caught a bit of baby fever myself.
I've been sewing baby booties and hooded towels and little stuffed toys and clothes as if I had to clothe everyone under the age of 3 by Saturday! They're so cute though, all these little things! Little baby things!
It's ridiculous, I know, but my dream is to fall in love, get married, and spend the rest of my life taking care of my husband and my family. It's not very progressive but it's what I want, what I've wanted since I was a little girl.
All of that aside,
Nikias, Sunni and I found your lamps. They were beautiful! Thank you for giving me such a wonderful evening. And, of course, thank you for coming with me, Sunni, it was definitely a lot more fun with someone else. |

Tuesday, Dr. Moore came around to give me the inoculation against the virus and after a day and a half of observation she and Herrick cleared me to go home! Finally! I spent all morning packing up my things and then unpacking them again once the taxi dropped me off. I can finally put up the Christmas tree and wrap all the presents I've bought from the mail that showed up while I was gone. I have some groceries being delivered and a list of Christmas cookies that need to be baked.
Is it lame I'm getting excited over something like this?
Sunni, thank you very much for taking the time to visit me. Even though it was short I had a good time. I have something special in the oven just for you! |

I know it's old news by now but that doesn't make me any less excited...
There's snow! There's snow outside! It finally snowed while it was actually cold enough to stick! It's all so pretty! I've seen a half dozen snowball fights from my window and it looks like so much fun!
I even had one of the humans from home bring over some warm clothes since someone's hinted at coming to visit - a chaperon that will protect me from whatever it is Herrick is hiding me from - just in case! |

It's easy to get frustrated and a little depressed when you're in the hospital for so long, especially when I don't feel sick! It's been over a month now. Half of my room has been moved here. I understand Herrick's precautionary measures, and since I am his human I don't have much of a choice, but I really wish I could go outside. Winter is such a great season, the clothes are so cute! I love wool and flannel and tweed. I like hats and boots and knitted gloves. I want to go shopping for Christmas cookie supplies and gifts. I want to make chili and big pots of soup!
I suppose it's best not to think about thins like this.
I helped put up the Christmas tree with nurse Peaks this morning. It looks really great! All the ornaments are beautiful, red and gold and purple and silver, and the multi-colored lights. I hope I get home in time to put up Herrick's Christmas tree. It's huge! |

Well, all this time in the clinic has allowed me to finish my scrap book of ridiculously cute animals from all the pictures I've scoured off the internet. I think they're about 60% cats and a surprising amount of bugs, if you can believe it! High resolution pictures of bugs are really interesting!

Since the seventh Harry Potter movie comes out this weekend I've had a marathon here at the hospital this weekend! Each movie back to back to back! I really don't like movies one, two, or four but three, five, and six were amazing! Is anyone going to get a chance to see it this weekend? I wish I could! But I'm sure someone will put up a pirated version on the internet sooner or later and I'm positive I can find it. |

It took me 3 hours to get through the premier of The Walking Dead. Does anyone have any idea how scary it is to watch a zombie show at night alone in a hospital in a town filled with vampires? Yeesh! |

| Worst Halloween Ever |

So I finished my awesome steampunk costume on time and got candy and everything for trick or treating but now I can't go out or answer the door or anything!
I'm not even sick but once this started going around Herrick made me go to the hospital. So now I'm here, in the clinic with my computer feeling fine but not able to leave. It's sad.
At least I get to see Dr. Moore, though. She's so pretty. Who wears cocktail dresses, heels, and hundreds of thousands of dollars of jewelry every day to work in a clinic? I'm jealous! |

| Vampire Romantic Comedy |

Well I guess now I know why Herrick has me living at my parent's house for a while. He turned Dillon! I can't believe it. Two vampires in the house now? He always told me that young vampires are dangerous.
I like being at home though, seeing Teddy every day, getting to come and go as I please - don't worry, Herrick, I'm following all of your important rules! I went to the library yesterday and checked out my own books for a change, I had tea and bought some candy and went to the park! Tomorrow I'm going to go to the animal shelter and see if I can play with some puppies and kittens because I'm not allowed to have pets at home.
I was thinking today how strange it was that I've lived in Shadow Falls my whole life, since I was born, that I was claimed when I was sixteen, and I've still never been bitten. I'm sure that's a good thing because I don't see how it couldn't hurt, but it's still strange. Isn't it? |

I'm spending the afternoon packing, if you can believe it! Herrick told me to gather my things together for a few weeks away from the house! I don't know why but for a little while it's back to my parent's house. He does this every now and then, sometimes I think for my benefit but it isn't even the holidays yet. Still, there's something embarrassing about someone my age having to live with their parents again, especially since I moved out when I was sixteen!
On the bright side, I'll get to see my adorable little brother every single day and annoy him from sun up to sun down as is a big sister's duty! And there won't be someone constantly asking me where I'm going, what I'm doing, and telling me to stay home so maybe...just maybe...
Does anyone want to show me what Shadow Falls' night life is like? |

So last night turned out to be way too much for me to handle. I probably shouldn't have gone to Herrick's surprise party at all. There was fighting and sex and even though I'm twenty something (a lady never tells her age) I feel corrupted and scandalized.
Maybe it's immature of me but in my humble opinion, all parties should involve fancy dinners, place settings, centerpieces, and hand decorated cupcakes. Martha Stewart, you know? It just goes to show you that Herrick's right, he really was born in a different era than the rest of us!
Who's excited for the fall TV line up? Dexter, How I Met Your Mother, House, Glee, Supernatural, Nikita, America's Next Top Model, The Mentalist, The Walking Dead!! I guess you can tell I am. Finally there will be something on TV again |
